Gilang Fradika (B. 1988) lives and works in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. Graduated from UNY (Yogyakarta state university) in 2012, he majored in Graphic Arts, Department of Fine Arts. His work tendency is present in two-dimensional medium, especially in Painting, and some etching prints as well as woodcut prints.
Gilang's work is the process of understanding the interaction between creatures and the social response of people, with visual imagined objects (imaginary objects) as alternative forms and metaphors. These objects are present in many images: the anatomy of the human body, plants, animals, and occasionally slipping pop culture objects. Like collage actions, they accumulate and interact with each other.
